Guides and Videos

This 3-part video features a homeowner who bought his own modules, inverter, racking and other components, then hired a contractor to install them.

This video introduces three applications of solar power: solar electricty, pool heating and indoor water heating.

This video shows an installation of a home PV system. While it provides a closer look at the basics, some of the steps performed and products used (e.g. caulk) are not what most installers recommend. Be sure to consult with experienced professionals before undertaking a solar installation project. See Optional Equipment for more alternatives to using a central inverter.
